ABOUT THE LANDINGS ART ASSOCIATION

Founded in 1987, the Landings Art Association is one of the largest and most diverse community art associations in the country. We are a 250+ member group with a wide range of experience and expertise, from beginners and those reacquainting themselves with their artistic talents, to award-winning professionals. The LAA serves the artistic community through a series of wide-ranging programs, both formal and informal for the education, and enjoyment of members and guests. In addition, the organization provides many opportunities for display of the artistic efforts of members in a wide variety of venues. All artists and art lovers are welcome!

I am proud to be a part of this very talented association.  This is the painting that I will have in the exhibit.  Please come see the show.  You can call me at 912 713 4267 for more information.

"Classic Cat"

Each year the Savannah Yacht Club hosts the "Classic Boat Rally" a regatta that starts in Savannah and travels to Hilton Head and Beaufort.  I went out in the motor boat and took photos of these very timeless boats.

If show only lasts one night so if it does not sell in the show I will list it on the web.  Keep looking! and wish me luck!

  1. I could feel the water's splash trickling down my white wispery hairs om the sides of my face and then YE- GADS A HUGE WAVE PULLED ME OVER TO THE SIDE OF THE WATER AND TUGGED AT ME EVER SLIGHTLY TO GO DOWN, DOWN, FURTHER TO WHERE THE CURIOUS NEED NOT VENTURE AND AS IF IN A DREAM, I awoke and scurried quickly up the current of the wave still tugging on me. I overcame its lure and mastered its yearning for my soul and was once again on top of the serenity of the sea. It was an illusion. I could choose its trappings or forever be gone to its strength. I chose to turn my back and once again recall its trickery. The breathtaking water sprinkled with a spec of sun tween the waves and cloulds brought to mind the glow of light that created its existence.
