THE PECONIC TONIC
This is me and my husband Olin and our new toy. I have to put this on my art blog because it will be the subject or vehicle for creating my art. It is a 19' Mariner. It arrived from Maine a day after Christmas in fabulous shape for a 20 year boat. Thanks to Stuart Marine who really went out of their way to make it shine! It has a unique history. It was originally built for the Actor Cliff Robertson who starred in PT109 and Spider-Man (Uncle Ben). The name Peconic Tonic is for Peconic Bay near the Hamptons where he lived. Olin and I had an O'Day Mariner like this in the 80's and loved it.
